Our Practice
How We Work
Our first priority is helping you take care of yourself and your family. We want to learn more about your personal situation, identify your dreams and goals, and understand your tolerance for risk. Long-term relationships that encourage open and honest communication have been the cornerstone of my foundation of success.
Our Investment Process:
Step One: Getting to know one another and gathering information
The first step in the process is to have a face-to-face meeting, enabling us to gain an understanding of your goals and objectives, financial situation, time horizon and risk tolerance. We will address the issues of education for children or grandchildren, taxes, disability and survivorship protection, estate planning and preservation, retirement planning, liability and asset management.
Step Two: Second Meeting - Putting it all together
Once we have a thorough understanding of your goals, we will formulate a plan to meet those goals. We will have an in-depth discussion with you to outline each aspect of the plan, so you fully understand the plan and are comfortable with it as well. We will invest accordingly, using proper asset allocation and diversification to focus on long-term performance while striving to minimize risk and volatility.
Step Three: Ongoing investment and plan monitoring
After investing appropriately, we will incorporate our team guidelines to ensure that specific investments are performing well relative to appropriate benchmarks. We will keep you informed of your personal progress toward your goals.
Step Four: Updating and periodic reviews
We will keep you informed on each specific investment and how your total portfolio is performing. We will communicate with you by phone and periodic face-to-face reviews to address any changes in your social and financial life that would require any adjustments to be made to your portfolio. Because financial markets are constantly changing, we will need to assess your overall asset allocation on an annual basis to ensure that we are rebalancing your assets and making the necessary adjustments. There will be continuous emphasis on the proper balance of risk and return relationship.
